Morning!
Are
we learning how "simple" it is to TALK COVENANT TALK? We just
go to the Word of God, read His covenant promises (out loud), believe them and
receive them, and then apply them personally to our own lives! You may
be saying, "Well, Luanne that sounds complicated to me, and I still don't
know what you mean". Ok! Not to worry! The
Holy Spirit is going to let you see the "simplicity" of this
principle as we go along! I KNOW, without a doubt, that God wants
you "talking" covenant talk! I also KNOW that the
"enemy" does not want that to happen. Why? Because,
when you start talking "covenant talk", you become a threat to his
kingdom of darkness! If you have never been "motivated" to
speak forth (out of your mouth) the covenant promises of God for you and
yours, then think about what I just said would happen, and that
should be "motivation" enough! Just by "speaking
God's Word through faith-filled lips, you can actually STOP the devil
from robbing you of the covenant promises of God!
For
example . . . Acts 16:21 tells you that if you "believe" in Jesus,
then you AND your "household" will be saved! Remember, this is
not saying to just believe that there is a God (many people believe in GOD,
even the demons believe and tremble), but this scripture is talking about
believing in Jesus, the Son of God that died for your sins, and entrusting
your life to HIM . . . if you have done this then this scripture is
letting you know that every member of your "household" will come to
know Jesus! If you will read tomorrow's encouragement, this will become
"real" to you! I promise!
If you are a born again
"Christian", and you have any un-saved loved ones, you just might
want to hear what God has to say to you . . . it will give you "faith"
and "confidence" to BELIEVE for their salvation!
