Praise Reports and Testimonies
When you share with others what God has done in your life, it is a blessing and an encouragement to them. If there was a particular daily encouragement e-mail that seemed to be just what you needed to hear that day, if you have requested prayer from T.O.D.A.Y. Ministries and that prayer was answered, or if T.O.D.A.Y. Hello Nadean, I just wanted to send you a praise report on me. I woke up this morning feeling so much better, thanks so much for the prayers, they worked. Buddy was going to make me go to the hospital if I wasn't better this morning. I guess I had a pretty high fever in my sleep last night but I do feel so much better today, praise God, I give Him all the glory for my healing. He is so awesome. And thanks to you and all of our prayer warriors for your prayers for me, I never doubted for a min. that they would work. AAAAAAAMEN!!! Love to you in Him, Cathy 1/18/08
Luanne, God is SO GOOD! After talking with you last evening I went to church and the Holy Spirit was all over me! My Pastor's wife took my hand and hugged me and said she could see me as a bottle of oil flowing out. Pastor's sermon was on Ps. 91 "Dwelling in the secret place." Just what you have been teaching us in your Encouragements. On my way home from church I went to my sister's house to share with her all that had taken place from your phone call to present. Remember, I told you my sister wanted me to pray Ps. 81 for her trip and verse 10 stood out to her? God was letting her know, to open her mouth wide and he would fill it, and then God said the same thing to me when you gave me that WORD from God on the phone! I also told her about you singing the song "I've Got A River Of Life Flowing Out of Me"and that I was to sing it and speak it about myself. My sister was discouraged last night about her trip because the Airline had charged her too much money by forgetting the Senior discount. She considered canceling her flight. The next morning my sister told me the devil really tried his best to defeat her and she was calling out to God and asking "Why am I having all these problems?" The Lord said back to her . . . "Who is in control the devil or me? She said she sat up on the side of the bed and said "You are Lord." She started singing "I've Got A River Of Life Flowing Out Of Me." She said she was at peace instantly and had no trouble going to sleep. We sang the song together again while we were on the phone and every time we got to the part . . Spring up oh well . . . we would choke up and couldn't finish without crying. Luanne! Look what the Lord is doing through YOU and YOUR MINISTRY! Don't you EVER let the devil lie to you about what God is telling you to say or do. My sister went on her trip and I'm still singing that song! Love ya, Nadean Hi, God has answered my prayers. My husband has been looking for a job since Nov 2005 and got one last week. It came out of the blue and God has blessed us by keeping us going until this happened. I want to say -- don't give up!! We ran into many dead ends and finally this came to be -- in God's time not ours. Don't ever stop believing in God. Thanks for all the prayers. Pat Luanne, You have been such a blessing in my life! I know God has sent a Guardian Angel to our daughter Tracey. Not only the guardian angel, the man who pulled her back to safety but the invisible kind that we humans don't always have the privilege to see with our own eyes. Their names are Donny and Sherry Meadows! I have kept in touch with them through e-mail. As we finished the course and I headed to Mexico to teach English for five months, Sherry mentioned the ministry you have over the Internet, and she asked if I would be interested. Living in Mexico, I attended church but it is very difficult to pick up any meaning even if you know Spanish well, because it's just such a work out for the brain! Your e-mail encouragements were like my daily Sunday service, along with some good books, and it was wonderful "spiritual food" for me. I would forward each message to my mom, who would read it about the same time every day. Now that I am home, I continue to pass along your messages to her (and some of her friends!) and we still meet or phone each other at the same time and pray together. I suffer with anxiety and depression, and have had several anxiety attacks over the years, particularly over these past few months. I just wanted to take this opportunity, firstly, to thank you for such an encouraging website, and also for the "daily encouragements" I am receiving. I have done a lot of re-evaluating my life, and, (just as you say) simplifying my lifestyle, and THAT, along with a lot of prayer, has dramatically touched my heart. I am actually sharing these daily readings with my husband, and it has encouraged him tremendously. It has also brought us closer together because we share the same values, and want the same things....and that is ....a life where Jesus is Lord, and material things are not important. So, thank you for being sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading, and I pray God's richest blessing on you. My nephew Ken, whom I have sent in a prayer request and praise reports for on his progress, gets to come home this week. He is walking around on his own and can even climb stairs now. He is trying to play his guitar again and his left side was paralyzed. This was a situation the doctors gave no hope for. They said he couldn't survive this stroke. God has the final say! I know God is going to restore him totally. Thank you all so much for holding him up to God. All of you at Todays Ministries are such a source of inspiration for me and my family. Thank you for your prayers for us. Love you al, Nadean Hi Babe, I want to thank you and all of Todaysministries for praying for my nephew Ken. He has a massive stroke the first week in Oct. The doctors told family, Ken would not survive this. Family went into prayer for him and sent in a Prayer Request to you for Ken. Praise God! Ken did survive! He came out of the coma within a few days of being admitted to the hospital. Ken is able to talk. His left side was paralyzed but he is able to bend his leg at the knee and has been sent to a Rehab Facility. He is gaining strength in his body daily. He stood for a few seconds while being transferred from a wheel chair. He is squeezing a ball in his hand. He is determined to get well so he can go back home. We know God is going to complete the healing in Ken and restore him. Thank you so much you Mighty Warriors for joining us in prayer. Nadean Luanne, I praise God for how he is fulfilling the "Word" you gave to me about God using my past hurts to help others! Chaplain Phyllis invited me to come to the County Jail "God Pod" cell and read some of the poems that God inspired me to write. I read "My Personal Testimony" poems to them along with others. I was so blessed by their response. It was a wonderful two hours I spent there. I told them about you and the "word" you gave to me and how the poems came to be written. I told them about how I have grown from "Todayministries Encouragements." They shared with me their own hurts and also art and poems they had written. I did not view these women as criminals but as women loved by God. The "God Pod" ministry is equipping these ladies for ministry to be used as they go into prisons and also the ones who will be released to share with others. Most if not all are Christians because of the "God Pod" ministry taking place in this jail. This has been such an honor and privilege for me and beyond anything I could have imagined that God would allow me to do for him. I thank God for this. I thank you also Luanne. Well its for me! At the beginning of summer I read the book of Joel and it was so meaty I told the Lord I definitely was taking a day to read it again thoughtfully and see what the Lord wanted me to glean from it. I didn't read it again yet. When I got your Encouragement yesterday it was a big reminder of my promise to the Lord. Your have been blessing me with your daily "encouragements" for sometime now and I have discovered that Holy Spirit surely is using you in my life to "wake me up" to Revelations of the WORD!! I, also forward your, "encouragements" to many of my friends, where, in turn, they get blessed as well. I began to think about the things you write and how the daily encouragements "feed" me. I decided to send an "offering" and sow some seed into Today Ministries, a ministry that feeds me and many others and so I knew I would be "sowing" into good ground. I simply mailed it to the address listed at the top of your encouragement. Not too long after that, I was financially blessed with an unexpected windfall and I knew it was because of the "offering" I sent to Today Ministries!!! I just praise GOD and give HIM all the Glory and Honor!!!! I know now, I must be obedient to the Holy Spirit, when it comes to "sowing seeds" and "offerings" to the ministries that "feed" us with the WORD of God and bless us with "revelatory" and "eye-opening" things of GOD!!!! According to the scripture, Gal. 6:6 in the Amplified Bible, it states, "Let him who receives instruction in the WORD [of God] share all good things with his teacher [contributing to his support]". I am praying that sometime soon, your website will have a way to send offering directly through the internet, so that many of us can send offerings and help your ministry to grow and flourish and bring many new souls into the Kingdom. A few months ago I became ill. I am in recovery and the past few months have truly been a blessing in disguise. I suffer from panic/anxiety and during this recovery process I have discovered that it was the Lord's way of telling me to slow down and enjoy my life. I have always been involved in church and prayer but I was in a state of confusion and worried for some time. Dear Luanne, First of all allow me to say thank you for all that you do and all the people that you are a blessing to. I sincerely hope you have benefited from the prayers that I know all of us have sent up for you. You are an instrument of God, (His ambassador in the earth) and of course the enemy will be after you! But you are an overcomer through Him that loves you. Now, you told me a few weeks ago to allow God to lead me in what ever I undertake, welllllllll I did that and Praise God, He has done exceedingly, abundantly above all that I could as or think!!! I was going through that winter that you were talking about, nothing seemed to be going right and I was continually asking God for guidance, I was sick in my body not able to work, had nurses coming in to assist me and that really made me feel hopeless, but I remembered the Word that says "When you've done all to stand, stand". I took God at His Word and wow!!! have things turned around I've stood on His promise that I'm an heir and joint heir with Jesus Christ, and today I can boldly say I am working again part time as a nurse but working never-the-less, thanks again for all the RIGHT NOW WORDS that you gave to me, I was really going through a lot, financially, I was on the verge of losing my home, God turned that around by allowing me the ability to return to work. You are so gifted in revelation knowledge, you knew that something was going on, and I told you that I would share when it was time. I have a friend who is a Chaplain at the County Jail here in the town I live in. She told me she wants to put the binder of my poems in the County Jail Library! GOD IS SO FAITHFUL! I am still thanking God. What lengths He goes to, to reach and teach me His child and all His children! Let me tell you about how your message worked in my life today. I was reading your message this morning before I went to school. I was putting my name in it like you put yours. I decided that I would be my Bible out to get the exact words for 1 Corinthians--13. I was typing part of it and where the love word is, I put in blanks so the children could write in their own names. Anyway, when I got to school, one of the students did something and I got very angry at what was done. It was a silly thing to get angry about, but I just couldn't seem to stop talking to the child about it. Well, then the words cam back to me Jane is patient, Jane is kind. I heard that over and over and then realized that I had to be patient and had to be kind, because that is what God is calling me to be. I apologized to that student and to God--and went back to my desk and prayed the whole reading with my name in it. I have to remember that what you think you create. The children and I are going to write our names in the reading tomorrow. I know that learning this "prayer" will help me remember that as a teacher I am a child of God and that His little babies were given to me to teach and to love. personally written just for me!!! Every one of them is just for
me!!!! I sent in a Prayer Request for myself regarding a heart Catherization and I just want to let you know I have some encouraging news for you because I took Him at HIS WORD!!! I went through it this morning and after 20 minutes into the procedure, the doctor found no blockage and said my heart is strong!!! they just don't understand how that was possible since my Stress Test showed a block!!! I also got to witness to my doctor, since he is a Muslim. PRAISING MY HEALER, THANKING MY GOD FOR HIS PROMISES!!!!! Love, Ann Hi Luanne, I want to say thank you for your New Year encouragements. week ago I could not walk because of an inflamed tendon and I asked for
prayer on the chat line of the games and today I am able to take care of
myself and walk. I am awaiting a report from an MRI which I am sure

really helped me because I am a senior person and sometimes I feel I

I was about to return to work. I had been off my job of teaching for 7 months. Being nervous and scared about returning to work, Luanne prayed with me and for me. I then signed up to receive the encouragements each day. I open my email before I go to school each morning. There have been so many days that the encouragement spoke to me about what to teach the children in class. I teach third grade in a parochial school. One day I shared the encouragement with the children and one of God's children said, "Wow, God talks to us through your email." Thanks Luanne for being a vessel for God's voice. Thanks for all the prayers and support. JA" "I want to thank the Lord for introducing me to T.O.D.A.Y. Ministries back in March of this year. I was in a game / chat room where Luanne was ministering to some people. It was wonderful to see people actually caring about the needs of others. I became one of those people in need. The Lord really touched my heart that night. I had grown up in a Baptist church. I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was 8. The Lord used me to work with children and teens in my church. I knew what the Bible taught about God's love for us. But what I had was “head knowledge”. Luanne prayed that I would find a deeper love for God than I had ever experienced before. The night she ministered to me was the beginning of a whole new love experience with God. Over the past few months, the Lord has touched the very depths of my heart. With the help of Luanne and others in my life, I began to realize that my understanding of God's love had been only "head knowledge". I had not allowed God to really touch my heart. Now God's love for me is deep and powerful. I love sharing His love with others. I just can't get enough of God. I am continually hungry and thirsty for more.
