What will you be wearing today?

 

Yes, I am still talking about our "spiritual wardrobe", and loving every minute of this assignment!  I know that a lot of you are enjoying it also!  However . . . You know what?  Even though The Holy Spirit is using a "fun way" to teach us about the garments that God has given us . . . it does not take away from the "seriousness" of how POWERFUL each one of them are! 

 

Today, I want to share some more about our "Robe of Righteousness", and I am going to use this analogy ~~~~ In this "natural realm", many people wear certain types of garments in order to make a "statement" (are you familiar with that "phrase")?  Sometimes it is to let people know what their "position or profession" is.  For example . . . this could apply to what a policeman wears, or what a clergyman wears and that is a "good statement"!  But some "attire" can be making a "not so good statement"!    I will not elaborate on that!  Moving right along ~~~~~

 

When we put on and wear our "Robe of Righteousness", then we are making a statement in the "spiritual realm"!  We are letting the devil and all of his cohorts know what OUR position is!  When they send their fiery darts that would cause us to doubt the fact that we are "Righteous", that is the time to take our "Robe of Righteousness" off of the hanger and PUT IT ON!  Precious ones, we have been made "righteous" simply because of the 'blood of the Lamb'. We have been made the "righteousness of God" because of what Jesus did for us on the cross . . . not because of our "works"! (2 Corinthians 5:21)  You are going to have to "believe" that and "receive" that!  We are going to have to be wearing our "garment of Praise" AND our "Robe of Righteousness" in order for our "Armor of God" to produce the results that it is intended for us to produce!  You do know that you have that "Armor" hanging in your spirual closet . . . right?    I will be talking about that "Armor" in my next Encouragement!
