What are you going to be wearing today?

 

I am going to continue my message about the "garments" that The Lord has given us and told us to "put on" and/or "clothe" ourselves with.  I have found this to be one of the most interesting and exciting messages that He has told me to share about in my Encouragements!  I started sharing this on October 03, and if you have not saved these in your files or printed them out, then I really encourage you to go to our website "Archives" and refer back to them in the order that I sent them out.  It would be hard for me to "recap" each time I send another one out.  The Holy Spirit  is using a very "unique" method to help us remember what we have hanging in our "spiritual closet"! 

 

I have already talked about our "garment of Praise . . . (do you have yours on)?  Next, I want to talk about our "robe of Righteousness".  Isaiah 61:10 tells us about this "robe", and this scripture was a "prophetic Word from God" to Isaiah concerning those who would be accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior!  If you have done that . . . then you have been given a "robe of Righteousness"!  Oh!  I have so much to share about this . . . However, I want to first lay a foundation.  This is the way that The Lord has always done everything!  He lays a foundation, and then He "builds" upon it!

 

Let's think about the word "robe" ~~~~~ Robes have always been significant of "ROYALTY" (it is something that Kings and Priests wear) . . . it is also significant of "AUTHORITY and POWER" (it is worn by all of the judges, even in this day and time)!  With that in mind, think about this ~~~~ we, as Christians have been made "KINGS and PRIESTS" (Rev. 5:10 and 1 Peter 2:9).  We have also been given "AUTHORITY and POWER" over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19 Amp. and many more scriptures).  In my next Encouragement, I will be sharing about other reasons why we need to take our "robe of Righteousness" out of our spiritual closet and PUT IT ON!
