Good Morning!

 

Well, I am back!  And, in spite of all the "opposition" the enemy has been sending my way . . . I am determined to finish this "assignment" that The Lord gave to me!  For awhile there, I seemed to be having trouble finding MY "garment of Praise"!  uh-oh!    See? It happens to all of us from time to time!  However, when I found it again, I decided to put some spiritual "Velcro" on it so that it would "stick" with me the next time I experience "opposition"!  Good plan . . . right?  I know . . . you are thinking, "What is this spiritual Velcro"?   The answer is . . . TRUST!  When we really "believe" God's Covenant Word and "trust" Him to keep His Word . . . we will "adhere" to Him, and "cling" to Him, and "rely" upon Him! (John 3:12 & 15 Amp. Bible)  This is why He had me to describe our "garment of Praise" as an "undergarment"!  We should be wearing it at all times, no matter what other garment we may be "putting on"!  We are going to have "opposition" from the enemy every day . . . so let's look at what happens when we continually have our "garment of Praise" on ~~~~

 

The Word of God tells us that HE "inhabits" our praises!   So, if we start "praising" God when we are being attacked by the devil . . . God arrives on the scene!  His Word also tells us, that PRAISE will stop the enemy and silence the avenger!  That means that if we are "praising God", we have the right to tell the devil to "shut your lying mouth"!  One more thing . . . When we PRAISE God, we are "submitting" ourselves to Him!  With that in mind, let's look at what James 4:7 says . . . "Submit yourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you"!  PRAISE gives us the "strength" to resist the devil's lies and then all we have to do is . . . stand back and watch that loser "flee in terror" from us!  This ought to be enough to let us know how POWERFUL our "garment of Praise" is!  Do you have yours on?  I will start sharing about some of the other "garments" that God has given us and told us to put on!  See you Wednesday ~~~
