Morning!
I
want to continue talking about the fact that The Lord is the
"great I AM"! I love to share on this "subject",
because this gives us revelation about why we are to pray in the name of
Jesus! In Friday's encouragement, I shared what Jesus said to us in John
14:14 . . . (I will paraphrase), in this verse Jesus is saying, if you are
going to pray in My name, then be "covenant-minded" about who I AM!
Oh! precious ones, this is so simple and yet so profound and extremely
important to our "having what we are praying for"! I
encourage you to read that scripture again. If you don't have an
"Amplified Bible", then read what it says in Friday's encouragement!
What
does The Lord mean when He says that He is "I AM"? The answer
is so very simple! He is saying . . . "I AM whatever I have said in
My word that I am, and I AM whatever you need Me to be in your time of
need"! Oh! That ought to bring forth a shout of Praise from
somebody! Think about it! He did not say that He is "I
WAS". He did not say that He is "I WILL BE" . . .
He said that He is "I AM" !
The
word "am" is present tense, meaning right NOW, or
at the time that you are praying "in His Name"! Remember what
Hebrews 11:1 says? (this is getting really good)! That verse
says . . . " NOW, faith is the substance of things hoped for . . .
". Well, that is a whole 'nother "message"! I
will get back to that later!
I
am going to be sharing some scriptures that let us know about the
"covenant" promise of the "I AM", so stay tuned in!
The Holy Spirit is wanting to give us a "revelation" concerning
what it really means when we say "in the name of
Jesus"! More coming up tomorrow! ~~~~~~
