Morning!
In
my last encouragement, I said that I would be talking about how to keep
your line of communication open with God. You probably already know what
I am going to tell you to do, but I am going to tell it anyway just in case
some of you haven't got hold of it yet.
How do we keep our line of communication open with The Lord? Three
simple words . . . TALK COVENANT TALK! When we get on the line and start
saying to God what He has said to us . . . we have connected to a direct
"hot-line" to Jesus!
In
Isaiah 43:26, The Lord tells us to put Him in "remembrance" . . . He
is talking about putting Him in remembrance of His "covenant
promises" in this verse, because He was talking about one of them in
the preceding verse . . . a covenant promise to blot out our sins. Don't
try to "complicate" this . . . it is really very "simple"!
When we talk "covenant-talk", we are putting Him in remembrance!
Why
did The Lord tell us to "remind" Him of His Word? It is not
because He has become "absent minded"!
Psalms 111:5 says that He will always be "mindful" of
His covenant! So, He doesn't need us to help "Him"
remember . . . He just knows that when we take time to "talk
covenant-talk", then this let's Him know that WE are being
"covenant-minded"! Isn't this awesome? . . . when we
talk "covenant-talk", then not only does that keep us
"covenant-minded", but it gives us "assurance" that
our call has gone through, and that Father has personally "answered"
the call! Now, that, precious ones, is real "communication"!
I don't know about you, but I just can not get enough of this kind of
"revelation"! More to come ~~~~~
