Morning!
Isn't
it refreshing to find out that we don't have to "struggle" to have
the covenant blessings of God in our life. So many people are trying to
please God and get Him to bless them by "jumping through
hoops", "trying to reason everything out in their own minds what He
really means in His Word", and then "trying to make sure that they
get all of their 'thees and thous' in the right place when they pray"! Hello?
But,
Praise God! . . . we don't have do to any of that! He has made it
so simple for us! We just take Him at His Word . . . "lean not to your
own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5), then we just SAY what He
says and "He watches over His WORD to bring it to pass"
(Jeremiah 1:12), then we just "believe that we receive what we say"
(Mark 11:24), then leave the ball in His court! Believe me, that is
exactly where He wants you to leave it! That let's Him know that
you are trusting Him to keep His "covenant" with you!
He is faithful to do what He has promised to do!
You
know what? You can do this! It is real
"simple" . . . just "talk covenant-talk"! For
example . . . one of God's covenant promises is: "Great shall be the
peace of your children, for they shall be taught of The Lord" (Isaiah
54:13). So talk covenant-talk concerning your children by opening your
mouth and SAYING this . . . "Great shall be the peace of my
children, Lord, for they shall be taught of You"! Is that
simple or what? Even if you don't have any "natural"
children, the Amplified Bible includes your "spiritual"
children in this covenant promise. That would be anyone that you have
led to Jesus, or those that you are spiritually mentoring! I just love
the "simplicity" of God's covenant promises! More
