Good
Morning!
When
I first started learning how to take the Word of God and use it to change the
bad situations in my life, I started by looking up "scriptures" that
pertained to that certain situation and I would read them.
There is nothing wrong with that... it is a good thing to do. But, I noticed
that just reading those scriptures did not change things. Then, I
got to a place where I would verbally quote the scriptures word for
word the way that they were written in the Bible. There is nothing wrong
with that....it is a good thing to do. But, even doing that did not
always bring the desired "results". Then I found out what I
needed to do next, and that is when I began to see my situations change!
I am going to share with you what I
started doing, but you need to keep in mind that the other two things I did
first, enabled me to do what I do now.....reading God's Word and quoting the
scriptures gave me a "knowledge" of His Word and without that I
would not have had the faith to boldly personalize His covenant
promises and expect Him to do what He said He would do!
The scripture that I am going to use
today, as an example, is Proverbs 3: 5 & 6 that says...."Trust in the
Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In
all of your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths".
When I have a situation in my life that
causes the "enemy" to put the thought in my mind..."What are
you going to do now...what are you going to do about this and what are you
going to do about that"? Instead of "listening" to the
enemy, and trying to decide what I am going to do, I
take that scripture and I make it "personal".
This is what I say...."Lord, I am
going to totally trust you to take care of this...I refuse to lean on my own
understanding...I will not try to figure everything out...I will just get You
involved in this (that is "acknowledging" Him in all of our
ways)...Thank you, Lord, for giving me wisdom in this
situation".... (that is allowing Him to lead us down the right path to
take). The Lord makes everything so "simple" for us!
Are we getting some "revelation"
on how to take the Word of God...speak it out of our mouth and CHANGE our
minds and our situations?
More to come.....stay "tuned in"
and "turned on"!
Have
a Blessed Weekend!! (Keep it Simple!)
In His Love, Luanne
