Good Morning!
What will you be wearing today?
I am still talking about the "armor of God", and
I am referring to the verses of scripture that are in
Ephesians 6: 11-18 (Amp. Bible). Monday, I only typed
out the first three verses for you, which are verses
11-13, and today, I am going to type out the rest of the
verses and then I will refer back to them as The Holy
Spirit opens them up and gives us "Revelation Knowledge"
concerning them as we go along. This may take me
awhile, but I know that this is something that The
Spirit is saying to the Church for "such a time as
this"!
Ephesians 6: 14-18 ~~~~ "Stand therefore
--- hold your ground --- having tightened the belt of
truth around your loins, and having put on the
breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and
right standing with God; and having shod your feet in
preparation [to face the enemy with firm-footed
stability, the promptness and readiness produced by the
good news] of the Gospel of Peace. Lift up over all the
covering shield of Faith, upon which you can quench all
the flaming missiles of the wicked one. And take the
helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which
is the Word of God. Pray at all times -- on every
occasion, in every season -- in the Spirit, with all
manner of prayer and entreaty. To that end,
keep alert and watch with strong purpose
and perseverance, always interceding in behalf of all
the saints (God's consecrated people)."
I am going to break this down as we go along,
but remember this ~~~ you have this "armor" in your
spiritual closet, and it is NOT a "one size fits all"
garment! God has "tailor-made" it just for you! It
also comes with "coordinating accessories"! It comes
with a "belt", a "hat", a "vest", some "shoes" and
more! I will be talking about all of these in my
upcoming Encouragements. I hope you will stay "tuned
in" and find out what a "powerful" garment that The Lord
has given you to "PUT ON"!
