Good
Morning!
We have talked about the first two
instructions that The Lord gave us in Proverbs chapter 3, verses 5 & 6 and
we found out how "simple" it is to obey them. Let me give a brief
"recap"......Just "jump off of the porch" and "lean
heavy on The Lord"!
I encourage you to refer back to the
previous encouragements, just in case you have forgotten.
Today, I want to talk about the third
instruction...."acknowledge Him in all of your ways".
What does it mean to "acknowledge" God? The definition of that
word is to "recognize", and to be "thankful for". That
is easy enough for us to do...however, the "instruction" says
to acknowlege Him in all of our ways! Well, our
"ways" are the situations and circumstances we find ourselves
in...right? With that in mind, then do this~~~~~
If you need "finances", then acknowledge
God by saying.."Father, I recognize you as my provider, and I
thank you for meeting all of my needs according to your riches in
Glory, not according to my resources (Philippians 4:19).
If you need "healing", then acknowledge
God by saying.."Jesus, I recognize you as my healer, and I thank
you that you continually heal all of my diseases and that you bless my
food and water and take sickness from the midst of me and that by your stripes
I was and am healed (Psalms 103:3...Exodus 23:25...Isaiah
53:5 & 1Peter 2:24)
In fact you can "acknowledge" God
in every and any situation in your life, if you will just say this~~~~Lord, I
acknowledge you, recognize you and thank you for being my
"shepherd"! I trust you and lean upon you to give me "provision,
protection and direction" in every area of my life! How do we
"acknowledge" God? By taking His "Word" and speaking
it over our situations! I could give you a "scripture"
for every situation in your life, but The Holy Spirit will give you those
scriptures when you spend time in The Word for yourself!
Tomorrow, we are going to talk about the
"result" that comes from obeying the
"instructions"...it is a covenant "promise" of God that
He will direct your paths! This involves a whole lot more than
you might think!
Have
a Blessed Day!! (Acknowledge God in all of your ways!) In His
Love, Luanne
