Good Morning!

Okay!  No "cliff-hangers" today, because I am planning to get to the bottom line of verses 5&6 in Proverbs chapter three.  Yes, I can "hear" your sigh of relief!

The "bottom line" is this~~~~If you choose to obey the instructions in these verses, you are going to be blessed "over and above anything that you ask or think"!  That means that if you "trust" in..."lean" on... and "look" to The Lord in every situation of your life, then He will "direct your paths"!  That is what I want to talk about today.

When God says that He will "direct your paths", that means that He is going to do a whole lot more than just stand and be like a "traffic director".  Think about it!  In the natural, a "traffic director" has no personal interest in what your "destination" is. He is only interested in doing what he is being paid to do.  On the contrary...God is very much interested in your "destination" and wants to keep you on the "right" path!

The book of Proverbs has a lot to say about "paths"....it talks about the path that leads to life, and the path that leads to death.  If we allow God to direct our paths, then we can be assured that He will keep us on the one that leads to "life"!  When you are on the "path" that God has for you, then this is what will happen:  You will always be at the right place at the right time!  You will find "favor" everywhere you go!  You will meet the people that God wants to bring into your life!  You will have "peace and joy"!  God will prosper everything that you set your hand to!  Nothing shall by any means harm you!  No plague shall come nigh your dwelling!  Every "need" will be met!  You will live, move and have your being in "Him"!  There is more on that path, but this should be enough to give you the desire to allow God to "direct your paths"!  In fact, everything that God has "promised" in His Word to give you or do for you will be found on that "path"!  So, before you get out of bed each morning....say this,  "Thank you Lord, for ordering my footsteps and directing my paths today"!

I know I have taken a long time on these two verses, but I believe that the "finale" was worth waiting for!

Have a Blessed Weekend!!          (Keep it Simple!)              In His Love, Luanne
