Morning!
I
want to take time to "welcome" our new readers that have recently
requested to receive these encouragements. May they bless you and yours.
Please feel free to share them with others! Everytime someone asks me to
send these to them...I think to myself, "This is a person that is
valuable and precious to God...a person that has a hunger and thirst
for God....a person that wants to mature in the things of God".
The Lord has a wonderful purpose and plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11), and
I pray that this ministry will encourage you as you "seek
Him with all of your heart"!
I will continue with what we started last
week....walking through the third chapter of Proverbs. You can go to the
website and click on the "Archives" to bring you up to date.
Today, we will be looking at verses 3
& 4.....I have talked about these verses in many previous encouragements,
but I am going to talk about them again. We learn by repetition, and
"faith" comes by hearing and hearing! So, keeping in
mind what I said last week about God giving an
"instruction" first, and if we choose to obey
that instruction, then we will have the results that He promises....I will
paraphrase verses 3 & 4~~~~
Verse 3 (the instruction)....Make sure
that "mercy" and "truth" is operating in your life at all
times. Allow the Holy Spirit to "embed" these instructions in
your heart to the extent that you will be convicted immediately if you
are not merciful and honest!
Verse 4 (the results)....You will find
favor with God and everyone else you come in contact with. You will also
have good success in all of your endeavors! Wow! I can't
think of anyone that would not want that "promise of
God" to come to them!
I am going to have to talk some more
about this before we go on to the next two verses! I hope that is okay
with all of you....because,this is a "principle" that we Christians
need to really get hold of! I am looking for "Amens" again!
