Good
Morning!
Okay!
Are we ready to "walk" through the third chapter of Proverbs?
I believe that this is going to be "life-changing" for everyone who
is ready and willing to receive and obey the simple instructions
that God has given us in this chapter.
I
am only going to take a couple of verses at a time...it seems to me like that
is the way that each "different" instruction is set up. Keep
in mind, as we go through these scriptures, that God is allowing us to
make "choices". If we choose to obey the
"instruction" that is in a certain verse, then we will have the good
results that are in the "next" verse. It is really so very
"simple"! Now that I have "laid a foundation", I
will "build" on it....that is the way that God always does
everything! He lays the foundation first, and then He builds on it, so I
prefer to do it like God does it!
The
"instruction" in verse 1 is....don't "forget" what
The Lord teaches you, then be "obedient" to do
what He tells you to do. If you choose to do this, then you
will have the results that are listed in verse 2....long life and
peace will be added to you! I am "paraphrasing" in order to
keep it simple.
Now....take what God has said and speak
it out loud. Say this~~~"Lord, I choose to remember what you
are teaching me and I choose to be obedient to do what you
have told me to do. Thank you, Lord, for satisfying me with long life and for
giving me peace". Faith will come to you when you hear
yourself saying this, because "faith comes by hearing the
Word of God" (Romans 10:17).
We have only just begun....we have 32 more
verses to talk about. I sure hope that you all will stay with me on
this! I know, in my spirit, that The Lord is using this chapter to
help us make the "right" choices in our lives. So many people are
going through bad situations in their life just because they made
the "wrong" choices!
We will take up verses 3 & 4
next.....What do you think I will say about them? Don't tell me,
just wait and see if what The Lord has to say is what you expected.
Is this a "cliff-hanger" or
what? See you Monday~~~~~~~
Have
a Blessed Weekend! (Keep it Simple!) In
His Love, Luanne
