T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Nov. 18th, 2002 T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries We have been talking about living our lives "successfully", according to the Word of God. We have looked at what will "help" us to do this, and also at what will "hinder" us. Friday, I said that in today's encouragement, I would talk about the "bottom line" that determines whether we succeed or fail. Actually, it is the bottom line to everything .......... MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE MOTIVATED BY "LOVE"! Walking in love is not an option...it is a decision of our will to obey the "one" commandment that Jesus gave to us. Read John 13:34. Keeping the "love commandment" does not put us under legalized bondage.........it keeps us FREE! All this week, I will be explaining this in depth, but also in a "simple" way that will help us understand what love (God's kind of love) really is. The enemy has tried to sell a lie about this, but Jesus said, "You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free"! (John 8:32) The Lord gave me a revelation about this kind of love, by giving me a "quiz", and so tomorrow I am going to give you that same quiz.
