Morning!
Here is the "Quiz', that I told you I was going to give you, and just bear
with me in my folly..........I am going somewhere with this>>>>>
What is the direct opposite of
"light"?
If you said, "dark" or
"darkness", you are right.
What is the direct opposite of
"weak"?
If you said, "strong", you
are right.
What is the direct opposite of
"success"?
If you said, "failure", you are
right.
(I could use many more examples),
however....I will move on>>
What is the direct opposite of
"love"?
If you said, "hate", you are
wrong. Stay with me on this......
I gave the "same" answer to that last question when I received this
"Quiz". That is when the
Holy Spirit started showing me, in the Word of God, that the kind of
"love" that we have been commanded to walk in, is different from what
the world has perceived as "love".
The direct opposite of God's kind of love, is "selfishness", pure and
simple! As long as you believe that the opposite of love is hate, then you
will have the mindset that, " if I don't "hate" a certain person,
then I must be "keeping the commandment of love". That kind of
thinking is deceptive, and deception never comes from God, so it shouldn't be
too hard to figure out where it does come from!
I don't want anyone to think that I am "talking down to you".
I know that a lot of you already have a revelation about what God says
about this subject, but we all need to be reminded from time to time, and there
may be someone out there that has never received a revelation on this.
If you will stay "teachable", we are going to look at different
scriptures that just might shed a lot more light on the "bottom line"
between "success" and "failure". Stay tuned
