Good
Morning!
I
want to continue sharing about the avenues that will bring us into the
presence of the Lord, which is the place where we will find
"fullness" of Joy! I have listed just some of those avenues in
previous encouragements, and we are presently looking at #2 . . . Thank Him!
When we verbalize our "thanks" to God, it makes us more
aware of His "presence". Think about it . . . to
"verbalize" means to use words to express or communicate
meaning. My reason for placing emphasis on this principle is because I
know for a fact, that many people will say, "Luanne, I do not have
to thank God out loud . . . He knows my heart". Have you ever said
that? Well, I will agree with you about the fact that God
"knows your heart" (He created it). But, will you agree with
me about what Jesus said in Matthew 12:34? Whatever you have in your
heart in abundance . . . you will eventually "verbalize" it!
If you have a lot of fear, worry, unforgiveness, resentment, frustration,
anger, confusion, etc. in your heart, you will eventually
"verbalize" it! You are going to talk to someone about
it . . . in fact, you may even talk to God about it (out loud)! Why?
Because Jesus said that you would!
Read
Matthew 12:34 again . . . "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth
speaks"!
Okay!
Point made! That is the negative side of the coin . . . let's look at
the positive side of it ~~~~~ When you "verbalize" your problems,
you are "magnifying" them. When you
"verbalize" your thankfulness, you are "magnifying" God!
It doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to "equate" that!
You know what? My heart is
so full of thanksgiving to God about something, that I have just got to
"verbalize" it . . . My granddaughter is graduating, Friday, from
the University of Texas! I am so "thankful" to the Lord for
giving her the "staying" power to achieve her goal!
Thank you all for allowing me to share this with you!
Have
a Blessed Day!! (In His presence is fullness of JOY!)
In His Love, Luanne
