Morning!
Sorry
about no "encouragement" Friday . . . I should have known I wouldn't
be able to send one, but I just wasn't thinking about what all would be going
on with the preparations for the "graduation"! It got to
"buzzing" like a hornet's nest around here! My oldest son and
his family came in Thursday from West Virginia (They are the parents and
siblings of the "graduate"). They moved from Texas to WV last
year to train missionaries, and this is the first time that all of them have
been here since then! Lot's of "catching-up" to do!
I
want to thank all of you that sent in "congratulations" to my
granddaughter. I have shared that with them! You guys and gals are
so thoughtful and kind . . . what a huge blessing you are to me!
Now,
I need to tell you what The Lord has instructed me to do . . . you may not
really understand it (I don't really understand it all yet myself), but I know
when The Lord is speaking to me and I must be obedient! I won't be
sending any encouragements out this week. I heard the Lord tell me to
take the "seventh week" off. I went back and checked . . . I
took off the first week in April (because he told me to), and this week will
be the "seventh" week since then. So, this is what I am going
to do until He changes the plan . . . send encouragements for six weeks, and
then take the seventh week off. Everything God does, and everything that
He tells us to do, is for a reason and a purpose! You know what .
. . as I reflect on the "scriptures" . . . God always talks about
the "seventh day" or the "seventh year", etc. as a time of
resting, refreshing and restoration! Praise God!!!! Guys and
gals, we are living in a time of seeing God manifest Himself to us . . . we
just need to have "ears to hear what He is saying! Can I get
an AMEN? I know that God wants to use this time to "reveal"
some things to me concerning this ministry . . . I would really appreciate
your prayers! As far as I know, I will be back with you all on
Monday, May 29th.
I will still be checking
my e-mails this week and receiving prayer requests, and you can go to the
Archive page on the website and "re-read" this month's
encouragements . . . read them OUT LOUD (Faith comes by hearing and hearing)!
