Good
Morning!
Today,
I want to talk to you about how important it is for us to PRAISE THE LORD!
Do we "really" understand how powerful "Praise" is?
As I give different scriptures that talk about this, I encourage you to
allow the Holy Spirit to "reveal" to you just how important it is to
PRAISE THE LORD!
First
of all....Psalms 102:18 tells us that we were "created" to Praise
The Lord! Then Psalms 8: 2 shows us one of the reasons why
God created us to "praise Him"...it is one of our
"spiritual weapons" that will bring the avenger (our enemy, the
devil) to a "stop sign", and keep him from working in our lives! This
tells me that when I sing praises to God...it is not for "His"
benefit, but for MINE! Somebody ought to be shouting Halleluiah right
now!
Many
people refrain from singing "praises" to God because they don't feel
like they have a good "singing voice"....Well, this reminds me of
something that I read one time about a "minister" that attended a
new church. He said that when the Praise and Worship service
began...there were two elderly men playing guitars that were out of tune, and
the "elderly men" were singing off key. He said that he
started to complain to the Lord about it, and he heard God say..."Shhh,
be quiet! My saints are praising Me"! How
about that, sports fans?
Another
example is this (think about it)~~~When little children sing "Jesus loves
me, this I know", they might not always sound
"professional". Do you think that Jesus cares?
In fact, they are the ones that He is talking about in Psalms 8:2!
So,
if we will just sing unto the Lord with "child-like" faith, then
He will "inhabit" our praises and give us the "strength"
we need to come against anything and every thing that the
"enemy" is trying to do in our lives!! Oh! Can I get an
"Amen"?
LET
EVERY THING THAT HAS "BREATH"....PRAISE THE LORD! (Psalms
150:6) If you are "breathing", then you "qualify" to
receive the power that comes from PRAISE!
Have
a Blessed Day!!
(Praise The Lord!)
In His Love, Luanne
