T.O.D.A.Y.’S ENCOURAGEMENT for May 8th, 2002

T.O.D.A.Y. Ministries

Good Morning!

Today we are going to continue to talk about the "yoke" that The Lord has for us.  Jesus always used natural situations to teach us spiritual principals...(Matthew 11: 28, 29, 30).

In those days, yokes were placed upon oxen, not as a cruelty to them, but to help them go in the direction that they were supposed to go.... they were called a "team" of oxen.  As long as they stayed together, and went where they were being led to go, they never felt the "yoke".  It was only when they pulled away from the one they were "yoked up with" that they felt any pressure or pain.

We are instructed in The Word of God, to not be unequally "yoked" with unbelievers (2Corinthians 6:14). I believe that this scripture is talking about relationships of any kind. Because, when this happens, we will always feel pressure and pain.

We need to stay "yoked up" with Jesus, and let Him lead us in the way that we should go...No pain, no pressure, only  "PEACE AND REST".

I encourage you today to read all of the 11th chapter of Matthew.  I believe that The Holy Spirit will give you a revelation of how to live free from pressure, stress and pain!

Have a Blessed Day!!                          In His Love,     Luanne

We welcome your comments and prayer requests.
