T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for March 13, 2008

Are
these "songs" helping you to keep on focusing on your VICTORY,
instead of focusing on your BATTLES? I choose to believe that they are
doing that for you, because I KNOW that The Lord had you in mind when He gave
me this "assignment" about sharing these particular songs!
When we become "Covenant-minded", we will see the WORDS of all of
these old familiar Hymns in a new perspective!
I
sang all of these songs many, many years ago when I was singing in the
choir, but at that time I did not have a "clue" about God's
COVENANT with me . . . we did not have any teaching on this in the church that
I attended. But, NOW when I sing them, I can SEE God's "Covenant
promises" revealed in the WORDS of these songs! Glory to
God!!!! Thank you, Jesus for showing me how to become
"Covenant-minded"! We have seen this in the first two
songs that we have tapped in to this week . . . "Standing on the
promises" and "Leaning on the everlasting arms", so now we will
see His "Covenant promises" in the one for today which will help us
to "keep on TRUSTING in Jesus"!

If
you have a church "Hymnal", I really encourage you to go and
read all of the verses in this song . . . you will see how it talks about
God's Covenant promises to us; such as "healing, peace, joy, rest, life,
fellowship with Him, cleansing, forgiveness from sin, and the fact that He
will never leave us or forsake us, and much more! If you don't have this
Hymn available to you, then let me know and I will send you all of the
verses! If you do not have a "revelation" of God's Covenant
with you, then I encourage you to ASK Him to give you that revelation!
I
have one more "song" to share with you in this
"assignment" that The Lord has given me, and I will do that
tomorrow. I can hardly contain my "excitement" about His NEXT
assignment for us!
