T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for March 11, 2008

Make
a decision to keep on "leaning on Jesus", no matter what your
situations and circumstances may be! I am going to share this song with
you, and then we will look at why this "decision" is so important to
your VICTORY! Sing it with me and I really encourage you to THINK
about each and every word ~~~~~~
WHAT
A FELLOWSHIP, WHAT A JOY DIVINE, LEANING ON THE EVERLASTING ARMS!
WHAT
A BLESSEDNESS, OH, WHAT PEACE IS MINE, LEANING ON THE EVERLASTING ARMS!
WHAT
HAVE I TO DREAD? WHAT HAVE I TO FEAR? LEANING ON THE EVERLASTING ARMS;
I
HAVE BLESSED PEACE WITH MY LORD SO NEAR, LEANING ON THE EVERLASTING ARMS!

. . . LEANING, SAFE AND SECURE FROM ALL ALARMS!

. . . LEANING, LEANING ON THE EVERLASTING ARMS!
The
Bible tells us over and over again that we must "trust" in The Lord,
and the Amplified Bible says that to "trust" The Lord means
to "believe in . . . "adhere to" . . . and "lean on"
Him with our entire personality! So, that is literally what I do
when I start to feel unsafe or insecure about anything. I actually LEAN
over on Jesus and lay my head on His shoulder! You know why?
Because that is what little children do with their Mommy or Daddy, it makes
them feel "safe and secure". Well, I have an intimate
"child-like" relationship with Jesus plus that is my
"personality" in action! You don't have to do that if you
don't want to, but I can't imagine why you would not want to!
You just might be surprised at how much "peace" you would receive!
Just making a "suggestion", okay? The main thing that I
believe The Lord is wanting to get across to us is this ~~~~ Precious ones, we
are supposed to be "leaning" on Jesus, not other people, and NOT on
our own understanding! Can we all agree on that? See you Thursday
