T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for March 14, 2008
T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries
14745 Merrilltown #1611 Austin TX 78728 Good Morning!
This
is the fourth "keep on keeping on" song that I talked about in
Monday's Encouragement, it is about keeping on "following Him where He
leads you"! All of these songs have been given to us by the Holy
Spirit to ensure our VICTORY over the enemy! I will get right into the
"song" first, and then I will share with you what the Lord has
revealed to me about it ~~~~
As
I was singing this song before preparing this Encouragement, the
Holy Spirit opened my eyes to see what the writer of this song had seen ~~~~
There are two different "gardens" that are talked about in God's
Word that required a "decision" of obedience, one of them is
the "garden of Eden", and the other one is the "garden of
Gethsemane". In the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve made a
decision not to believe what God had promised them. They
chose to believe the "lies of the devil" that made them
"doubt" what God had said. Their "choice" caused
them to lose their VICTORY over death! In the garden of
Gethsemane, Jesus made a decision to "follow where God was leading
Him", and He said, "Not my will be done, but thine"!
His "choice" made Him VICTORIOUS over "death and the
grave"! You will find yourselves in both of these
"gardens" . . . your VICTORY depends on whether or not you
"choose" to follow the leading of The Lord, no matter which of
those gardens you are in! When things are going just great for you,
the devil will try to challenge you to "doubt" what God's Word says!
When things are NOT going so great for you, the devil will challenge
you to "doubt" what God's Word says. In both
"gardens", your CHOICE to "follow the leading of The
Lord" will determine your VICTORY or your DEFEAT!
Remember
this ~~~~ the only "defeated" Christian is the the one who
"quits"! So, I encourage you to "keep on keeping
on"! God has a wonderful plan for your life! Follow Him
wherever He leads you!
God
has some life-changing messages coming up, so stay tuned in!
Have
a Blessed Weekend! (Say this: "not my will, but Thy
will be done"!) In His Love, Luanne
