Good
Morning!
There
is one more thing that I want to make clear before we start back
"walking" through 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 verse by verse. I know that
the Holy Spirit is going to give us more and more revelation about God's kind
of love when we get into that, but I feel led to "clarify" some
things before we do. When God revealed to me what I am about to share
with you, it was "life-changing" for me, and set me free to keep the
"love commandment" that Jesus gave us!
Okay....here's
the deal ~~~~ Satan is a "ditch-digger"! If he can't get you in
the first "ditch" he digs....then he digs one on the opposite side
of the road and tries to get you in that one! For example....he digs the
"proud and haughty ditch" so that he can get you to "thinking
more highly of yourself than you ought to". If you don't go there,
then he has the "low self-esteem and unworthy ditch" which is
nothing less than the "PITS"! Don't go there! These are
"ditches" that we can talk about later, I just used them as an
example for the fact that the devil has "ditches" to keep up from obeying
the "love commandment"! I have already talked about one of
them, and that is the "ditch of deception" (he tells you that as
long as you don't "hate" someone, then you are walking
in love with them)....that is a lie! I encourage you to refer back to my
earlier encouragements about that. Now! Look out for the
"ditch" that is on the other side of the road ~~~~~ this is also a
"ditch of deception" (he tells you that if you don't approve, accept
and condone someone's "behavior", then you are not walking in
love with them)...that is a lie! This "ditch" is
the one that I am going to be talking about in my next
encouragement....it is the one that I used to keep falling into, but Praise
God....."the Truth has made me free"! Jesus
said that if we would continue in His Word, then we would know the
"truth" and the "truth" that we know will make us
FREE! Somebody ought to be shouting "HALLELUIAH"!
Have
a Blessed Weekend! (Pray for the Christians in Ireland!)
In His Love, Luanne
