Morning!
Let's
go back to verse 4 in 1 Corinthians 13, which is where we started on this
"Love walk"! Remember that I am referring to the Amplified
Bible version, so it may read a little different from the version that you are
reading from. I can remember when I thought that the King James
"Bible" was the one and only HOLY BIBLE! There
are a lot of people that still think like that. I guess they think that
it is the one that the Apostle Paul read. I don't want to make anybody
mad, but it is not the "version" of the Bible that makes it
"Holy"......It is the "Word of God" that is Holy, and He
can "speak" His Word to our spirit no matter what
"version" we are reading, if we are really wanting to hear from Him! His
"commandments" are no longer written on stone tablets....they
are written on our "hearts" ! The Lord has chosen to
use all of the different "versions" of the bible to help us get
more "insight" in to what He has placed in our hearts! Praise God
for the "different" versions....I hope you have all of them
available to you! The more, the better.....get all you can get, so that
you can be all you can be!
Well!
I don't know who that message was for, but I do know The Lord is speaking to
someone! Don't "limit" God or try to put Him in a
"box"....stay "teachable" so that you can "grow
up" and be a blessing to others. Ephesians 4: 15 tells us that if
we will "speak the truth in love" to others, it will
cause them to "grow up" in Jesus. Well, that is what I have
just done! I was speaking the "truth in love" to you.
Hold on
a sec......that scripture does not authorize you to just tell everybody
what you think they ought to know, even if it is the
"truth". It says to speak the truth in "LOVE"!
If you are not motivated by Love when you are "quoting
scriptures" to people, then you are just going to put them under
"condemnation", instead of helping them to "grow up"!
Wow!
The Lord has gone in a different direction from what I had in mind to talk
about....however it is still all about 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8, so that is where
I will take back up in my next encouragement! See you
