Good Morning from T.O.D.A.Y. Ministries!
We have been
talking about getting God involved in everything that concerns us. We
have established the fact that He WANTS to be included and that He wants
to help us. He says, in His Word, that He is a "very present
help in time of need". That tells me that He knew we were going
to NEED His help. This is where PRIDE vs. HUMILITY comes in.
Pride will never ask for
help...but Humility will.
Pride says, "I can do it
myself ". Humility says,
"Without you,
Lord, I can do nothing".
The Bible does not say that God will humble you...It says to "humble
yourself" and then it tells you how to do it: by "casting all of your cares upon
Him". See how simple He makes it for us.
Tomorrow, we will talk about FAITH vs. FEAR.
