Good Morning from T.O.D.A.Y. Ministries!
Have you made a decision to
get God involved in your life and to ask Him to help you with everything
that concerns you? If you have not made that decision, then that means
you haven't "gotten it" yet.
"It" being...God WANTS to be involved in what you're
doing!
Come on and SMILE, I am talking to you in love, because I know where
you are.... I’ve been there.... done that. That is why I am going to
keep on encouraging you until you do "get it"!
What qualifies us to have God's help and involvement? The answer
is: "Humility".
What dis-qualifies us from having this? The answer is:
"Pride".
What allows us to receive His help and involvement? The answer
is: "Faith"
What hinders us from receiving this? The answer is "Fear".
Humility and Pride are opposing forces. You cannot be humble and prideful at the same time. Faith and Fear are opposing
forces. You cannot operate in Faith and Fear at the same time.
Because these principals have everything to do with our receiving anything from
God...including His help and involvement in our lives.....I want to expound
further on them.
Pride
vs. Humility
Pride hinders us from receiving from God because He has
already established His word concerning this. He says that He gives grace
(which is His supernatural help) to the humble but He resists the proud.
Now this does not mean that He is resisting or holding anything back from a
"person". It is Pride that He is resisting.
Pride is a "spirit". The same spirit that came into
the Garden of Eden and told Eve that she didn't need to believe what God had
said. Do not let pride keep you from having all that God "has
said".
Tomorrow we will talk about how humility will keep you from having a
"spirit of pride".
I am excited to know that The Holy Spirit is teaching us how we can have God
involved in every thing that concerns us.
