T.O.D.A.Y.’S ENCOURAGEMENT for Mar.28th, 2002

Good Morning from T.O.D.A.Y. Ministries!

I am so blessed by all of these replies telling me that you are (in your words) " Getting it ".  That lets me know that some of you are taking hold of these principals that allow The Lord to actually be involved in what you are doing.  Jesus said to "HOLD FAST" to what you have.  So let's continue… and then you will have some more revelation to "HOLD FAST" to.

Today we are going to look at "FAITH vs. FEAR".  We have already
established the fact that these two spiritual forces oppose each other.  You cannot operate in fear and faith at the same time.  It is impossible.  We were created to live by faith.... The Word of God says, "The just shall LIVE by faith".  That is the reason that God did not give us a spirit of fear.  Can you see this?  We have not been given a "spirit" of fear.

There has been so much teaching on the subject of faith.  Why?  I believe it is because too many people do not really understand what  faith is.  We tend to complicate the simple principals of God.
Do this: every time you see the word "faith" in your Bible, use the word "trust".  For example, Hebrews 11:1  "Now faith is...Read it this way:  "Now trusting God is...(I encourage you to read this scripture, if you are not familiar with it, in order to understand what is being said here).  Bottom line.... Faith is simply trusting God!

A little child jumps off the porch into his Daddy's arms because he trusts his Daddy to catch him.

The only way we can receive anything from God, including His help and involvement in our lives, is by simply trusting Him to do what we ask Him to do (if it is something that He has said in His Word that He would do).

            I encourage you today to
ASK The Lord for His help in every thing that concerns you and  I can assure you that you will find yourself safe in "His Loving Arms"!

Faith waits for God to keep His Word.  Fear refuses to wait and decides to "make something happen" just in case God doesn't come through.  In other words, we decide to "help God out".  Please remember this:  God does not need our help...We need His!!

Tomorrow I will be giving you related scriptures from The Word of God pertaining to " Getting God involved in what you're doing".

Have a Blessed Day!!                       In His Love,    Luanne

We welcome your comments and prayer requests
