T.O.D.A.Y.’S ENCOURAGEMENT for June 19th, 2002

Good Morning!

This may seem a little strange to some of you, but The Lord is changing directions temporarily.  We will come back to the message on frustration later, but He has something else in mind for "today".  I don't know exactly why He is doing it, and I don't have to know why.  He can do what He wants to...He is God after all!  I do know this, whatever He does is for a reason and a purpose.

Not too long ago, we talked about the importance of Prayer.  We are supposed to be doers of The Word and not hearers only...(James 1:22).  Today, I am going to list the things that The Lord wants us to pray about right now.  I know that there are some of you who are doing this on a regular basis, but I believe that He is wanting everyone who is reading this e-mail today to get involved.  I speak to each one of you, individually, and ask you to read the list and if it seems overwhelming, choose just one thing to pray about and give it special attention.  The Holy Spirit will help you choose the one He wants you to pray about, and He will help you to do it.  I know that you will be blessed.  Your prayer is important!

1. Pray for our President and all who are in authority

2. Pray for missing children

3. Pray for victims of current disasters; fires, floods, etc.

4. Pray for Israel

5. Pray for your Pastor and spiritual leaders

6. Pray for Christians that are in hostile environments

7. Pray for your City

I truly believe that God will show you which situation that He wants you to pray for. Thank you for being obedient.
