Good Morning!

It is always such a blessing to me when I hear from people who are "hungry" for more of God.  That is like a great big green light to this preacher!

I am reminded of a very familiar hymn and want to share a few lines of it with you.

"Come and dine, the Master calleth, come and dine; you can feast at Jesus' table all the time. He, who fed the multitudes, turned the water into wine, is calling now to you to come and dine".    *(Author unknown)

We come to the Lord’ s Table by going to the Word of God.  Jesus, who is the Word, is the Bread of Life.  The Holy Spirit, who reveals the Word to us, is the Wine.  So, when we come to the table that He has prepared for us, we need to come with an "appetite".  As I have said before, in order to grow, we have to be fed.  Spiritual growth is necessary to for us to
be strengthened, so that we can stand against the attacks of the enemy.  He has prepared a table for us in the presence of our enemies...(Psalms 23:5).

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled."  (Matthew 5:6)

Are you hungry today? Do you want more "fulfillment" in your life, in your relationships, in your job?  Then you need more of God in these areas.

I encourage you, today, to find your place at the Lord's Table and partake of what He has prepared for you.
