Good Morning!

God is such a lover and He is such a giver!  It is His nature to love and to give.  This is because He is totally unselfish.  The Bible tells us that it was because He loved us so much, that He gave His Son to die for us.  He is still loving and giving everyday continually.  He will never change.  He is the same today as He was yesterday and He will be the same tomorrow and forever!

The Bible also says that we are to be imitators of God.  We are supposed to be "lovers" and "givers".  The reason we can do this, is because, He has put His nature on the inside of us.  It has to be developed from the inside out, but The Holy Spirit will do that for us if we ask Him to.

When we become "lovers", like God, it will be evident in our lives.  We will just naturally love others unconditionally, not for what they can do for us, but with the attitude of what we can do for them.

When we become "givers", like God, that will also be evident in our lives.  We will just naturally want to give to others, not to get something in return (although that will happen because of the spiritual law that governs giving...give and it shall be given unto you), but giving with the attitude of being a blessing to someone.

In talking about giving, that doesn't just mean money, however, that is certainly a part of it. We should give in to good works; that is one of the channels that The Lord uses in order to bless us financially. But, there are many other ways to be a "giver".

I encourage you to be obedient to The Lord, and be quick to love and quick to give.  I am not interested in "fame or fortune" but I would like to be known as "a lover and a giver"...I want to be like my Father God!  Isn't that what we all want?
