I am going to put our list back
up again, and I probably will do this until we have covered the three
"choices" that we need to make in order to get rid of the
"clutter" that accumulates over a period of time in our LIFE .
. . OUR HEART . . . AND OUR MIND! Once we get rid of the
clutter in these three areas, we will be sincerely willing to CHOOSE to "stay"
free of clutter!
#1. I choose to
"keep my LIFE simple"!
#2. I choose to
"keep my HEART pure"!
#3. I choose to
"keep my MIND stayed upon The Lord"!
We have already covered #1
. . . so let's move on to #2 ~~~~ In one of my previous Encouragements, I
listed some things that would hinder you from keeping your heart
"pure". I encourage you to refer back to that list, because
rather than list all of those things again today, I prefer to let you know how
those things can cause you to make wrong choices and decisions in your daily
life! God's Word tells us to "guard our hearts with all diligence,
because out of it flows the forces of life"! He also tells us that
whatever is in our "hearts" in abundance WILL come out of our MOUTH! He
also tells us that the "words" that we speak out of our mouth can
produce either LIFE or DEATH! Are you getting the picture? Allow
me to make this so very "simple" ~~~ if you allow
"unforgiveness, bitterness and resentment" to accumulate and clutter
your heart, it will eventually cause you to make the
"choice" to RETALIATE with your WORDS! You will either
speak "hurtful" words to the one that "hurt" you, or you
will choose to talk to other people about what someone did to you!
Either way . . . you have "chosen" to get revenge with the
"words" of your mouth! Did you know that when we choose to do
that . . . it not only "binds" that person up, but it
"binds" us up from receiving the Covenant blessings of God in our
lives! Oh! Precious ones! There are so many other things
that "clutter" up our hearts, but for some reason . . . The
Lord wanted to talk about this one today! So, for someone . . . this has
been A WORD IN DUE SEASON!
There is so much more to
share about a "cluttered heart", so I will continue this next week!
The Lord so loves His children and wants them to be FREE! He wants
to teach us how to recognize the "devices" of the enemy . . . that
is what these "messages" are all about! Isn't He wonderful?
Oh, what a good Father He is! Can I get an AMEN?
