A WORD IN DUE SEASON

Today, I want to talk about #3 on our "list" of choices that we need to make on a daily basis!  l know from personal experience, that the "earlier" we make these choices the "better" our day will go!  There is an old saying that goes like this ~~~ the early bird gets the worm.  Well, that may be just fine for the "birds" . . . but who needs worms?  My bible says that if we seek The Lord "early", we will find HIM!  I choose to stick with what God says, instead of what someone who obviously did not know Him said!  In fact, I think it was Confucius that said that . . . well, that explains his "adage"!  Even his name reveals his state of mind as a philosopher . . . totally "confused"!

Okay!  I have had some fun with you, so now I will get serious about "seeking The Lord early" with our choices!  Hope you have your "list" handy!

#3.  I choose to "keep my mind stayed upon The Lord"!  The reason that we need to do this is because of the Covenant Promise that God gives us in Isaiah 26:3 which tells us that "God will give us perfect peace when our mind is stayed upon Him"!  Some of you may be thinking . . . "How can I keep my mind stayed upon God all day, when I have so many other things that I need to give my attention to during the day"?  Well, The Holy Spirit is going show us how we can do this, and it is really very simple, if you will stay "teachable"!  This revelation has been "life changing" for me, and I believe that it will be for you also!

I have always had a "busy mind", it is something that I have had to "learn" how to overcome, and what I am going to be sharing with you is what has helped me to overcome this so that I could have that "perfect peace" that The Lord promised to give me!   I will start sharing what I have learned from The Lord about this in my next Encouragement . . . it may take me a while to share all of it, but for "starters" . . . I became "WORD minded'!  So, I will start with that and continue on until we all have learned how to "keep our mind stayed upon The Lord!  For sure, this is truly a "Word in due season"!  See you tomorrow ~~~~
