Good Morning!

Well, let's get into the check-up-list right now!  ok?  You might want to open your bibles or refer back to my encouragement for Jan. 15.  Remember, this is for you to be honest with yourself and find out if you can check the YES box, or if you have to check the NO box!

#1.  Love endures long . . . Do you endure long? One of the definitions of "endure" is:  to put up with or to tolerate.  Let me add this comment . . . this is talking about putting up with or tolerating people.  We are NOT commanded by God to "put up with or even tolerate" the things in our life that come from the devil, which is our enemy and also God's enemy!  Now that we understand that . . . I will continue.

I am not sure what the time limit is for "long", but I have a feeling that The Lord meant that we are to "endure" however long it takes to stay in the Love walk with someone, even if you have to grit your teeth and keep your mouth shut in order to "endure long"!   How are you rating on this first item in the check-list?

#2.  Love is patient . . . Are you patient? Some definitions of being patient are:  to endure without complaining or losing self-control; refusing to be provoked or angered; able to wait calmly for something that is desired (such as having our prayers answered later that we wanted them to be).   How are we doing on this one?

#3.  Love is kind . . . Are you kind? Definition of kind: (are you ready for this)? . . . sympathetic, friendly, gentle, cordial, tenderhearted, generous and loving (you know, like Jesus is)!  Right?   Are we still able to "check" the YES box?

Well, I think I have put enough on your plate for now . . . I will continue with this tomorrow.  Do I hear some "sighs" of relief?  You know what?  We all need to use this check-list from time to time!  I have a thought coming to mind . . . I heard this some where, but I can't remember where just now, but it goes like this . . . Take a look at yourself, and then you may see others differently!  I agree with that!  See you tomorrow ~~~~~~
