Morning!
How
about if we take right back up where we left off yesterday? I am
excited and looking forward to what The Holy Spirit is going to reveal to us
today! So, let's roll!
Assuming
that you all are keeping track of the previous messages, I will move on to the
next "peace-keeper" that comes from the fact that God has given us a
SOUND MIND!
#3. Philippians
4:8....this verse tells us what kind of thoughts will bring us
"peace", because verse 9 says that if we will "think" like
that, then the God of PEACE will be with us! Let me do the "in
other words" thing....if you are thinking about anything that may not
be "true, honest, just, pure, lovely, is not a good report, or does not
produce any power in your life, or does not cause you to give praise to
God", then you are thinking "peace-stealer" thoughts!
We have already
established the fact that FEAR is the number one "peace-stealer" in
our lives, and the only way that the "spirit of fear" can get a
foothold is through our thoughts! So, that brings me to
"Peace-keeper" #4, which I will talk about tomorrow.
I know one thing....The
Lord does not want His children bound up with "fear"...He wants us
to have His "peace" and He has made it available to us. I
really believe that this is why He has assigned me to send this message out! This
is very personal to me...I have lived in fear and I have
lived in peace. PEACE IS BETTER!! I could go on to say
that I have lived in lack and I have lived in abundance.
ABUNDANCE IS BETTER!! I have lived in sickness and I have lived
in health. HEALTH IS BETTER! I have lived in bad
relationships and I have lived in good relationships. GOOD
RELATIONSHIPS ARE BETTER! I have walked in foolishness and I
have walked in God's wisdom. GOD'S WISDOM IS BETTER!
I am not sure why The Lord is having me to say all of this, except maybe
it is because He wants everyone to know that His desire for us is to
be...HEALTHY, WEALTHY AND WISE!!
