Morning!
I
have been going back over my previous messages and I noticed that I would say,
"that brings us to ......." or "that brings me
to.....". I was reminded of a song that we sang in school to help
us learn to the musical "scale". So, I am going to have
some fun with you all before I get into the "message". Okay?
How many of you still remember the "musical scale song"?
You know.....Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So-La-Ti-Do, and for those of you that do not
remember...the note "Do" is pronounced doe. Let's
sing it together~~~~~
Do....a
deer, a female deer
Re....a
golden drop of sun
Mi....a
name I call myself
Fa....a
long, long way to run
So....a
needle pulling thread
La....a
note that follows So
Ti....a
drink with jam and bread
and
that "brings us back to" Do! Do-Ti-La-So-Fa-Mi-Re-Do (the
scale backwards)!
For
those of you that have never sang (or sung) that song....ask your parents
or your grandparents or your great-grandparents to sing it to you!
Some of you may be thinking..."Do WHAT"? Let me assure
you that Luanne has not gone off the "deep-end" yet! The
Lord has given me the ability to find "humor" in every situation,
and I really believe that is why I have so much "Joy" in my
life.....just wanted to spread some of it around!
Okay! I will "quote" the Apostle Paul, and say "Thanks for
bearing with me in my folly."...and now I will get back to the list of
Peace-keepers!
#4. 2Corinthians 10:
5....this verse tells us exactly what to do with the "thoughts" that
the devil sends to our minds to get us into FEAR. If you will read that
verse, and the one above it, you will understand that this is what we need to do
to STOP the enemy from stealing our PEACE! Notice the word
"imaginations"...Satan will get us to start "imagining"
that bad things are going to happen. He does this by saying, "What
if"? I am going to continue this tomorrow, because there is so
much involved in all of the "what ifs" that the enemy brings to our
minds.....hold your place in that "scripture", and I SHALL RETURN!
