Morning!
I
want to talk about the "kind of faith" that is needed for us to see
the manifestation of God's covenant in our personal lives. His
"covenant" with us has already been established. There is
nothing that we can do to "qualify" for this
"covenant"....Jesus did all that for us! However,
there is something that we need to do in order to
"receive" His covenant promises. We have to
"believe"!
Look
at it this way....there was nothing that you could do to
"qualify" for salvation or forgiveness of your sins....Jesus
already did all of that for you! However, in order for you to
"receive" your salvation and forgiveness...you had to
"believe"! Right? We cannot "receive" anything
from God except by "faith"....that is what The Word of God says
(James 1:7 and Hebrews 11:6). In order to receive, you must believe!
In order to
"really" believe what God has for you requires a special
"kind of faith". Hebrews 11:1 calls this kind of faith
"NOW faith". No matter how many messages we have heard about
"faith", we all need to hear it again and again. Why?
Because "faith" comes by hearing and hearing and hearing (Romans
10:17).
Hebrews 11:1 says..."Now
faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not
seen". Tomorrow I am going to quote that scripture again, and allow
The Holy Spirit to expound on it, word by word, and give us a fresh
"revelation" of it! You just might want to stay tuned in to
the "good news station" KJIA!
If you are thinking.. "another cliff-hanger"? Well, one good
thing about "cliff-hangers"...they keep us in
"expectancy", and that is what my message tomorrow is all about!!
