Good
Morning!
When The Holy Spirit gave
me a "revelation" of what Hebrews 11:1 was saying, it was
life-changing for me. I pray that you will "receive" that same
revelation as we talk about it today!
I encourage you to read
this scripture "out loud". If you will, then I believe The
Holy Spirit will give you "insight" into what I am going to share
about it! Come on now, open your mouth and say...."Now faith is the
substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen".
Ok...now I want you to re-read it and "accent" the words that I am
going to underline. Ready? "Now faith is the substance of
things hoped for"...."Now faith is the substance of
things hoped for"...."Now faith is (present tense)
the substance of things hoped for"..."Now faith is the substance
of things hoped for"...."Now faith is the substance of things
hoped for"...."Now faith is the substance of things hoped
for".
If you have no hope, then
"faith" has nothing to give "substance" to! Can you
see that? However, it gets even better! That word "hope"
does not mean "wish"! It is literally translated "joyful expectation"!
If you are just "wishing" that God will do the "things"
that His Word says He will do, then you are not giving your
"faith" anything to bring "substance" to and so you
will not see the "evidence" that the last part of that verse is
talking about! The word evidence means "something you
can see"!
Let me make this real
"simple".....if you are "joyfully expecting" God to keep
His covenant promises, then you have the "Now kind of faith" that
will let you "see" those covenant promises come to pass in your
personal life!
I pray that you did not
get "tired" of re-reading Hebrews 11:1 and "accenting" the
underlined words....I remember when The Lord had me to do that, and that
is when I understood what "Now faith" is all about! More
about this tomorrow...stay tuned in to the "good news station KJIA"!
~~~~~~~~
Have
a Blessed Day!! (Don't just wish..."expect"!)
In His Love, Luanne
