T.O.D.A.Y.'S  ENCOURAGEMENT for Jan. 03, 2006

I have been thinking about why The Lord keeps telling me to encourage all of you to stay tuned in to the "good news station", and I believe it is because too many of God's people are watching the "bad news"!  Many people tell me that the reason they watch the "secular" news is so that they will know what to "pray" about.     You do not need to hear "bad news" in order to know what to pray about!  If you really have a heart to "intercede", The Holy Spirit will let you know what to pray about!

Faith comes by "hearing", and that can work to your disadvantage as well as for your good...which is what God was talking about in Romans 10:17. In other words, you can begin to put "faith" in what the enemy is doing by "hearing" the bad news, but "faith" in what God is doing only comes from "hearing" the GOOD NEWS (which is the Gospel, the Word of God)!  I may have made somebody mad, but I said "all that" to lay a foundation for what I told you yesterday that I would talk about today!  I can hear some of you saying "whew".  You know what?  I did not really know why The Lord had me say that until I got up and read Webster's definition of the word "whew"!  The Holy Spirit has such a great "sense of humor"!    So, Hey! "lighten up"...get "real"...get "happy"...get your Webster's dictionary out...then get your "bibles" out and read about the covenant promises of God!   I will get back to the "faith" message tomorrow, because it takes "faith" in God's covenant promises in order to see His covenant promises manifested in your life!  However, your "faith" needs your "joyful expectation" to work with!  More about this tomorrow...so stay "tuned in" to the good news station KJIA~~~~
