Morning!
Some of you may be
thinking...."Luanne, you have told us that we need to keep
our lives simple but you haven't told us how to do that". Well,
that is because I am just doing this the way that God has always done things.
In His Word, you will find that God tells us "what" we need to do,
then He tells us "why" we need to do it, and then He tells us
"how" to do it. So, if we will do things "His way", we can
expect success.....because "His way is perfect" (Psalms 18:30).
We need all three of these things; the "what"....the
"why".....and the "how", but we need them in the order
that God has set up! Too many people want to just hurry up and "cross
the finish line", without making the effort to
"prepare" themselves to run the race! Come on now,
you know I am "speaking the Truth in Love"! Moving right
along~~~~
His reason for telling us "why",
is to create in us a desire to "do" what He
tells us to do. Then, that desire is what motivates us to obey
Him, when He tells us "how" to do it! So, next week
I will talk about the "benefits" that come from keeping your
life simple, and also the "results" that come when we allow our
lives to become cluttered and complicated. This will be the
"why" in this message. I am excited about what The Holy Spirit
is going to show us through this "simple" message....I hope you are,
too! See you Monday~~~~~~~~~~~
