Morning!
It is so encouraging to know that The Lord
is interested in every detail of our lives! Psalms 138:8 tells us that He will
"perfect and accomplish" whatever concerns us! So, if we are
really wanting to reap the benefits that come from simplifying our life, then
He will get involved, and will help us "accomplish" our goal.
(He is just so wonderful and "personal"!)
Here are just "some" of the
benefits that come from making an effort to keep everything simple..........peace
of mind, joy unspeakable and full of glory, blessed and restful
sleep, more time to spend in fellowship with God, freedom
from stress, a better attitude about yourself and others, and a better
perspective on life in general.... (remember, I said that these are just
"some" of the benefits).
Now, to the other side of the coin.....if
your life is "cluttered and complicated", then I cannot list the
"benefits", because there won't be any. However, there will
be "results"! And they are.......stress, confusion,
strife, regrets, restlessness, bad relationships,
self-condemnation, (which leads to self-pity, which ultimately leads to
depression). How do we stop this "vicious cycle"? The
answer is so "simple" and that is what we will talk about
tomorrow~~~~~~
