Morning!
I
love talking about "keeping it simple"! This revelation from
The Lord has been "life-changing" for me. Jesus wants us to enjoy
the life that He died to give us. He let us know, in His Word, that He
wanted us to be "full of joy". He was not talking about the
"sweet by and by"....He was talking about the "sweet here and
now"!!
That
is because He knew that the "joy of the Lord" is our STRENGTH
against the devices of the enemy! We won't have to be concerned about
that in the "sweet by and by"....because in the "presence of
the Lord, there is fullness of joy"! (plus the fact that the enemy
will not even be there)!
So,
"here and now" is the time to stop complicating everything. Complication
will steal your "joy", because when things are
"complicated"....we become "frustrated" and how much joy
can we find in "frustration"? The answer is....(very obvious
and simple)! No "riddle" intended here! Just
referring back to the "encouragement" for yesterday!
Anyway, I have already talked about
"simplifying" different areas of our lives...such as our
"thoughts", our "relationships", our "prayers", etc.
Now, I want to talk about the "way we read the Word of God"!
I had planned to talk about this today, but I will do this tomorrow~~~~~
