Morning!
Okay!
I am going to give you all some scriptures from God's Word that are so very
"simple", and yet sometimes we try to make them
"complicated" because we read them, and then begin "reasoning
in our own minds"......(Proverbs 3:5 tells us not to do that).
I encourage you to read that verse and the ones above it and below
it.
Every
time God tells us to do something, He tells us what He
will do, if we will be obedient to do what He has told us to do.
Also, we need to keep in mind that our "motive" for doing what we do
is very important! With God, it is not so much what we do.....but
why we do it! We can be doing what God's Word tells us
to do, but if we do it for "selfish" reasons, then
our "motive" is wrong and it will not produce the results
that God had intended for us! So, keep that in mind as we go
through these scriptures!~~~~~
Luke 6:37 says..."judge not, and you
will not be judged...condemn not, and you will not be condemned...forgive, and
you will be forgiven". (that is "simple")!
Luke
6:38 says..."Give, and it shall be given unto you........(that is
"simple")!
Proverbs 3:3 & 4 says
(paraphrased)..."Be merciful and truthful, and you will always have favor
with God and other people". (that is "simple")!
James 5:16 says (paraphrased)..."Pray
for someone else to be healed, and you will be healed". (that is
"simple")!
Matthew 6:33 says that if you will
seek God "first", then everything you need will be added unto
you....(that is "simple")!
Acts 16:31 says..."Believe on the
Lord Jesus Christ, and you and your household will be saved"!!
(that is "simple")!
Don't try to "complicate" God's
Word....just "believe" what He said is true. All things are
possible to him who "believes"! (Mark 9:23)
