Good Morning!

I have good news for someone today!  You do not have to be tormented with fear!  (1John 4:18 tells us that fear will cause you to be "tormented"). You know why?  Because fear comes from the devil and he is the tormentor!  That is bad news... but here is the "good news’...God tells us in 2Timothy 1:7 that He has not given us a spirit of fear!

Please hear this!  Fear is a "spirit", but it is not on the inside of you, it is an outside force that tries to come upon you.  It can be coming against you without you even realizing that it is an evil spirit...for example, you may recognize and acknowledge that you are "afraid of flying in an airplane", or that you are "afraid of the dark", or that you are "afraid of being alone at night", or that you are "afraid that you might die".

All of these things are obvious to you as being fearful, but what about the "not so obvious" things...do you worry about losing your job?  Do you worry about your children?  Do you worry about what other people think about you?  Do you worry about having enough money to pay your bills? Do you worry about failure in your endeavors?  Whether you realize it or not, this is still the same "spirit" of fear!

There is so much more to talk about on this subject, so we will continue with this on Monday...until then, let me encourage you with these words, FEAR NOT, FOR THE LORD, YOUR GOD IS WITH YOU!!!!
