Good Morning!

In Friday's encouragement, I was talking about the fact that we don't have to be fearful (full of fear).  Fear does not come from God....He said "the just shall live by faith" (the "just" are those of us that have been "justified" by the blood of Jesus, not by our "good works"!)

Faith and fear are opposing forces...you cannot operate in fear and faith at the same time!  Hebrews 11:6 tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please God, and that is because it takes faith to receive from God all the blessings that He has for us!

The problem is, that sometimes we can be in fear without even realizing it...for example: "worry" is a product of "fear".  When we are worried about something, that simply means that we are "afraid" that it won't turn out like we want it to!

Let me share something with you.... one day I was trying to figure out how I was going to take care of a certain situation, when the phone rang.  The person calling me just simply said, "Hi, what are you doing?", and before I could answer them, I stopped and thought about what I was doing (it was almost like I heard The Lord asking me that!)  So, you know what I told them?  I said, "I am sitting here sinning".  Of course, my caller was shocked by my reply (to say the least), and you may be too.

My point is, when we "worry", we are letting "fear" operate in our lives, and The Lord has told us over and over in His Word that we are to FEAR NOT!!  Disobedience to God's Word is "sin".  However, Praise God for 1John 1:9 (please read this scripture).

More about this tomorrow...in the meantime "Be encouraged!", Forgiveness is available to us 24/7/365

Have a Blessed Day!!!                           In His Love,       Luanne
