Joy to the world, the Lord has
come!
Let earth receive THE KING!
Let every heart
"prepare" Him room!
This is a very familiar song, especially at this time
of year....so I encourage you to really think about the "words" as
you sing it. The first word is "Joy"......there is a big
difference between "joy" and "happiness"! Happiness
always depends upon "circumstances". If our circumstances
are good, then we are happy, but if our circumstances are not good,
then we are not happy! However, the "Joy of the Lord" is our
strength regardless of our circumstances!
The "King", which is the Lord Jesus, has to
be "received"! He wants to know that He is "welcome"
in your life and affairs! So, while you are making all of your
"preparations" for this holiday season.....remember to
"prepare" a place for Him! Don't get so "busy in the
kitchen" that you forget to "sit at His feet"! (please
read Luke 10: 41 & 42)
Enjoy your time with your family and loved ones, the
