Morning!
You
know what?.....I just "plain ol' vanilla" believe God's Word! I
don't try to figure it out in my mind or begin to "reason" with
my natural intellect...I just accept it by faith! Whatever His word
tells me to do...then that is what I want to do! Whatever He has
"promised" to do for me...then that is what I believe He will
do!
God
is a "covenant" God, and He will keep His promises, whether
they were made under the old covenant or the new one....I am not talking about
His "laws", I am talking about His "promises" of
blessings. Hebrews 8:6 tells us that Jesus is the mediator of a
"better" covenant, established on "better" promises. That
does not "exclude" the promises that He made to Abraham...it
"includes" them, and even more and better "promises"!
I
said all that, to say this.........God told us that He would
"bless" us and make us a blessing. (God blesses us so that we
can be a blessing to others!) He also said "I will bless those that
bless you" (Genesis 12:3)...This is a "promise" that
I stand on every day! I truly believe that God will "bless" every
one that has "blessed me"!
Well,
all of you have "blessed" me, so I believe that God is
going to "bless" you!! I encourage you to receive the
"blessing" that God has for you! He said that He would do it,
and I trust Him to keep His Word!
