Good Morning!
It is so important that we realize, recognize, understand, and "know"
this one thing . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . no matter how long we have
been Christians; no matter how much knowledge we have of the Bible; no matter
how many "good works" we do; no matter how strong we think we are, and the list could go on . . . . . . the fact
remains that all of us need the "grace" of God in
our lives! Simply because, it is His grace that does for us what we cannot
do for ourselves!! He tells us in His Word how to activate and receive
that awesome "power". James 4:6 says that He will give "grace' to
the "humble".
Yesterday, I talked about the fact that we need to come into the presence of God
with "boldness", so a lot of people might think, "how can I be
bold and yet humble at the same time?" The answer is . . . . . . . . the
kind of boldness that The Lord is telling us to have in prayer is not
"arrogance". Our boldness should be our confidence in Him, not
ourselves! The reason we can remain humble at the same time is because,
humility is not a weakness . . . it is an "attitude" we express by
saying . . . . "without You Lord, I can do nothing!"
I can see where The Holy Spirit is going with this, so tomorrow we will look at
how important our "attitude" is, and how it can make a difference in
every area of our life! God is so good, and He is showing us how we can
"simplify" our lives, so that we can "enjoy" the abundant
life that Jesus came to give us!
