Good Morning!

We are still talking about prayer and communicating with The Lord, and the Word of God tells us that we should be "bold" about doing this!  Let me share Hebrews 4:16 (Amp.) with you . . . . . . . . .  "Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace --- the throne of God's unmerited favor, that we may receive mercy (for our failures) and find grace to help in good time for every need . . . the appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it."

When we pray, we need God's mercy AND His grace.  We have a tendency to think that these two things are one in the same.  In one sense they are because they are both "unmerited" . . . . there is nothing that we can "do" to earn either one of them.  However, they are different in the fact that "mercy" is passive, but "grace" is one of God's most "aggressive" attributes.  We can see that in Ephesians 2:8 . . . . I encourage you to read this scripture and let the Holy Spirit show you just how powerful he grace of God is.  "Grace" is the supernatural power of God to change things in the natural!  So, we need to relate to this when we are praying. I will try to bring all of this together in tomorrow's encouragement.  Stay with me, I know that The Lord will "keep it simple"!
