T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Dec. 20th, 2002 T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries Well, today, this is going to be a little different from the usual, but I spent a lot of time in prayer before typing this up, and I feel in my spirit that I am doing what The Lord would have me to do. I am not sure why, but it is not up to me to question the leading of The Holy Spirit.....my job is to just be obedient! The following words are taken from a song that is very familiar to most of us, and if you know it, I encourage you to "sing" it... THERE IS A FOUNTAIN FILLED WITH BLOOD, DRAWN FROM EMMANUEL'S VEINS AND SINNERS, PLUNGED BENEATH THAT FLOOD, LOSE ALL THEIR GUILTY STAINS. LOSE ALL THEIR GUILTY STAINS, LOSE ALL THEIR GUILTY STAINS. SINNERS, PLUNGED BENEATH THAT FLOOD, LOSE ALL THEIR GUILTY STAINS! I believe, with all of my heart, that this song not only applies to the lost, but also to born again Christians. Let me explain.... Even those of us that have accepted Jesus as our Lord, will be attacked by the enemy to make us feel guilty about something we have done or said. However, God has made a way for us to come out from under this... (1John 1:7--9) reminds us of how the "blood of Jesus" is still working in our lives.
